Cozy and at the same time spacious brasserie is located in Parisian’s Golden Triangle at the corner of George V Avenue and Place de l’Alma. A perfect place to enjoy coffee and watch the gorgeous city. With the Eiffel Tower just in front of you and original French treats on your plate a true Parisian experience is guaranteed! Keep in mind that if you want to check or book this restaurant in the internet there is no official Chez Francis website. At least I haven’t found any. So do not hesitate to make reservations through the concierge at your hotel or other professional websites. Also, for your information, there is one more “Chez Francis” and their page will pop up every time you are searching for “Chez Francis Paris” though this namesake place is not even in France. Be attentive.
This brasserie is popular among tourists as well as citizens, yet it’s usually easy to get a table. People come and go, it is not the place where you will spend a lot of time. Service is pretty prompt, yet you will not feel yourself “at the fast food”. Everything from decorations to waiters is stylish, tasteful and atmospheric. A unique colourful interior of this place will remind you about “La Belle Époque” the famous “Golden Age” of Paris. Deep red colour, muffled light, mirrors and homelike ambience- simply gorgeous.
Menu offers a lot of options. Beside the traditional snail, foie gras and lobster among the starters you will find also international classics such as dim sum, spring rolls or Burrata with Parma Ham. Meat and Fish sections as well contain few “exotic” dishes for example “Crying tiger” – marinated Thai spicy beef or Cod Fillet with lemongrass and coconut milk. A wonderful choice of oysters for any taste! Snacks such as sandwiches, salads or omelette for those who are in a hurry. I would say : “a well though out menu indeed”.
Visit Chez Francis and enjoy truly French delicacies, warm atmosphere and a nonpareil view. Whether you are going to come with friends, family or your romantic date – for any company this restaurant will be just right.
